Our goal is to make a concerted effort to hire individuals with the ability, experience and desire to assist us in our task of helping to create and maintain a safe and orderly environment for our kids at Denver Public Schools. The Operations Department is divided into five geographical areas: Northwest, Northeast, Combined Sites, Southwest and Southeast.

DPS provides custodial employees free training in the following areas:

• Hot water heating systems

• HVAC systems

• Basic computer training

• Electrical, instruments and controls

• Boiler gas controls

• Basic personnel management
